Transfer Requests for SCCSD Students

To submit a transfer request or for questions regarding credit transfers and medical exemptions, please contact the registrar at your child’s designated home attendance school or call VIBE Academy at 712-224-8423.

Parents/guardians who wish for their SCCSD student to transfer into VIBE Academy or transfer back to their designated home attendance school may submit a request on or before the last day of each quarter.

Generally, SCCSD students may transfer into VIBE Academy or transfer back to their designated home attendance school at the start of a quarter or semester.

For the 2022-2023 school year, the VIBE Academy transfer schedule is as follows:

  • Transfer request due August 22, 2022, for Q1 start

  • Transfer request due October 26, 2022, for Q2 start

  • Transfer request due January 12, 2023, for Q3 (second semester) start

  • Transfer request due March 20. 2023, for Q4 start

VIBE Academy transfer requests are processed within 3 to 5 business days. 

Note: parents/guardians who wish for their SCCSD student to attend classes IN PERSON at a school OTHER THAN their designated home attendance school are required to complete the Transfer Request Form.
