Excelling in Pursuits of Passion

Students who are enrolled in VIBE Academy and reside in Sioux City, IA can participate in most activities that take place at their boundary school outside of the school day.

For example, a ninth-grade student who resides in the North High School boundary area may participate in debate club practices and events held at North High School after school hours. A fourth-grade student who resides in the Loess Hills Computer Programming Elementary School boundary area may participate in Leggo League practices and events held at Loess Hills Computer Programming Elementary School after school hours.

VIBE Academy affords students the opportunity to exercise their talents in activities such as band, debate, speech, and theatre. Clubs and organizations exist to help students excel in academic pursuits or leadership outside of the virtual classroom.

Activities and clubs students can participate in at their boundary school include but are not limited to:

  • Marching Band

  • Speech (if offered)

  • Drama (if offered)

  • Debate

  • Robotics Club

Activity exceptions include the following:

  • Show Choir

  • Any other club or activity that only takes place during normal school hours
