About

Eastwood High School will provide EVERY student with a quality education that prepares them for success in post-secondary education and is a responsible, engaged citizen in his or her community.

Eastwood High School is one of 52 campuses in Ysleta Independent School District. EASTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL opened its doors in 1961 and serves predominantly Middle and lower socio economic . EASTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL serves 2332 students in grades 9 to 12. Five years ago, 2342 students were served by the campus, which is a(n) Increase of 2.0% %.


The student population is 1.03% African-American, 4.50% Anglo, 0.39% Asian, 93.83% Hispanic, 50.64% male and 49.36% female with a low socioeconomic status of 53.43%. The staff population is 0.00% African-American, 21.62% Anglo, 1.08% Asian, 76.76% Hispanic, 44.32% male and 55.68% female.
