School Leaders at Leadership Summit Panel Q and A

Student leaders from North Layton Junior High invited district and school leaders to participate in a Leadership Summit Panel Q and A.

Student Body President Abigail Kelly said this is the second year they have held this event and believes it is a great way for student leaders at her school to learn about leadership and how to create a positive school culture at their school.

Leaders of organizations, like student government, Hope Squad, Latinos in Action and Multicultural Advisory Council, participated in the summit today and had opportunities to ask questions about what it means to be a leader.

“I think the best thing I heard today is to be yourself and to be kind and make sure that people are comfortable around you to be themselves,” Kelly said.

Leaders that participated in the panel included the administrative staff of North Layton Junior High, assistant principals from local high schools, district department leaders and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Logan Toone and Superintendent Dr. Dan Linford.
