Atalia, Ceirra, Angel, Dahni, and Kaliah have excelled academically, with grade point averages exceeding 4.150. They have also already earned a significant amount of college credit through their course work.
The students are strong community supporters and participate in multiple service projects, civic engagement opportunities, and athletics, with some looking to compete at the collegiate level. They all have full tuition offers to numerous colleges and universities and are actively working towards and seeking opportunities to earn full ride offers!
The receiving students and all the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Early College community expressed their gratitude to the Denver taxpayers for continuing to invest in DMLK and Black Excellence through the Bond investments passed by the community.
