Welcome to the 2023-2024 School Year

At Campbell Union High School District we take pride in improving student outcomes. I invite you to read our “Year in Review.” Inside you will find district accomplishments from our most recent school year.

We continue to prioritize student wellness. From training our staff in Mental Health First Aid to improving campus safety - we provide a welcoming and safe school environment so students could focus on academics. Our students have outperformed their Santa Clara County peers on standardized tests. The graduation rate of our Class of 2022, particularly among English Learners and students from low-income households, also outperformed the County.

We have only been able to do this with community support. The voter-approved parcel tax in Measure O from November of 2022 will provide $5 million dollars in annual revenue to help us continue our quality education. We are also completing large facilities improvement projects funded by the voter-approved Measure AA. Our bond management is well-renowned by credit rating agencies - and we have kept projects on-time and under budget. Students are already benefiting from the new classrooms and new kitchens in our schools.

With the leadership of our Board of Trustees, we have continued to lay the groundwork for a strong future. The Board of Trustees voted to increase School Counseling staff - more closely aligning the ratio of students to counselors to the ratio recommended by the American School Counselor Association. The Board also commissioned a 20-year facilities master plan to prepare our education environments to meet the needs of the future. We have seen the benefits of the new student and staff spaces across the district made possible by the Measure AA Bond, and we look forward to future facility modernizations.

We remain committed to improving the student experience and continuing to provide updates on our progress. Thank you for taking this journey with us.
