Principal

Greetings Northside Parents and Community, 

It is my pleasure to serve you as the new  principal this year!   This is my twentieth   year in education which began in 2002 as a paraprofessional and my fourth year in educational leadership. Prior to becoming principal, I have served as an  instructional coach and assistant principal at Northside Elementary.  Even with these amazing experiences, I will always be a teacher at heart. I also have 12 years of classroom teaching experience in Gadsden County, Mitchell County and Grady County School Systems. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Thomas University and a Specialist  from NOVA Southeastern University in Curriculum, Instruction, Management and Administration.  I also have my Tier I Leadership certification as well as Gifted and ESOL endorsements.  Currently, I am enrolled in the ChattFlint RESA to gain my Tier II certification.   By pursuing lifelong learning, I intend to be an example to students and teachers that we should never stop learning. 

It is my privilege to lead Northside Elementary and the many talented teachers and students here! My goal is to continue to provide a supportive climate and culture at Northside that is conducive to teaching and learning. By doing so, each individual student and teacher can experience growth to their highest potential. I look forward to interacting with all stakeholders in our school community and continuing a partnership with our parents this year!
