Members of the First Grade Art Club enjoyed working with different types of media. We worked with crayons, construction paper, and glue to create a beautiful fall tree.

First Grade Builders Club

Members of the Builder's Club enjoyed working in groups or independently to create free form structures using Legos, Lincoln Logs and colored pop cubes.

First Grade Music Club

Members of the music club enjoyed singing the patriotic songs "America the Beautiful" and "America". We also enjoyed music interpretation through dance

K-Kids

We are fortunate to have our Northside K-Kids! K-Kids is a “student-led” community-service club, which operates under school regulations and draws its members from the student body. Membership at Northside Elementary School consists of students in grades 3 – 5, who desire to provide service to others. This club provides members with the opportunity to form sound personal values and build self-esteem, based on experience in meaningful community service activities.

Members learn the core values of:

· Character building

· Inclusiveness

· Caring

· Leadership

An ongoing project is the daily reading of good character traits, and leading in the pledge of allegiance over the intercom.

We are very excited to have a Sports Club at Northside School!

In this club, the students will have specific skill training in the following sports:

soccer, basketball, football, baseball, and softball. Along with learning the skills, students

will be learning how to become a "TEAM PLAYER" on the field and off the field in their

every day lives.
